Rant on some movies and cheese

We tried to watch this:

It was my take two at this movie, this time in full-HD. Alison liked it. For me - watchable, nice entertainment, very eye-candy... Sexy babes, yet no nudity (boooo!!!). Anyway - evening saved ;-)

BTW - we recently watched Adjustment Bureau. Not as bad as I was afraid it'd be, actually quite good. Alison liked it (without having read the book). Two comments here...

Primo - I like the direction Matt Damon is going with his choice of roles. BTW - have you seen this song by Sarah Silverman:

If you find link to unedited version - please share. And also since we touched the touchy subject of Sarah - there is another one...

And this is the best cheese you can get here in Kenya...

Secundo - I think it takes great visionary who has very strong position in Hollywood (like Ridley Scott or Stanley Kubrick ;-) to fully utilize potential of Philip K. Dick stories and create something as spectacular as Blade Runner. Someone who has his vision and does not give crap about anything else. Do not get me wrong - Adjustment Bureau is a good movie, but not ground breaking. Just good entertainment. I think the problem with Dick's stories is - there are so fucking twisted that mianstream Hollywood target audience (free, brave and dumb Americans) will not understand them. This is why we are not likely to ever see anything as spectacular as mentioned Blade Runner... And continuing this thread - there are following movies based on PKD stories: Total Recall, Blade Runner, Screamers, Impostor, Paycheck, Minority Report, Next, Scanner Darkly, Adjustment Bureau. I do not think I missed anything important, have I?

On Facebook, blogging and Zbigniew Wodecki

Some friends of mine moved out of blogging into Facebook status updates. Supposedly its easier and faster. But - you might know or not - but Facebook is the evil empire now and has been like that for some time now. So I happily deleted my FB account over a year ago and I never had any regrets.

So back to blogging... Ideally - me think - I should be such an inspiring and interesting person that I should have something to say every day. But - unfortunately - I am not that much hype. My life is simple - daily dose of sex, drugs, rock'n'roll, pain, food, work and Aikido... So - unlike some others I know - I try to avoid spamming others with irrelevant and boring updates (likes of OMG, I pooed and feel great now or I just bought a new LV shoes)... So I blog only when something has actually happened.

So, trying to avoid Zbigniew Wodecki look (the transition phase of growing long hair) - how - do you think - does that work for me?
